As a creator of handmade gemstone jewelry, people often ask if I believe in crystal energy and wonder how they can tell if they’re drawn to a crystal or gemstone jewelry purely for its beauty or if they’re responding to its energy. I find this question interesting, as it suggests that aesthetics and energy are two separate things. In reality, they’re intertwined! Whether or not you believe in a crystal’s stated properties, each stone has its own unique characteristics—color, shape, texture, weight, and growth patterns—that create an energy all their own.
These physical qualities are often directly connected to their vibrational properties. Colors, shapes, and even textures are not isolated attributes; they correlate with specific energy frequencies and align with the body’s chakras or energy centers. While belief can indeed amplify intention, whether for crystal meditation, manifestation, or energetic work, I don’t think belief is required to experience the subtle influence of crystals. The energy within each stone exists regardless.
